what i find amusing from reading sites like Red State, is the number of people who refuse to think that the message is the reason they lost...it's always something else...the media, the polls, the candidate's campaign, etc. But never the message. It it wasnt for the tea paarty taxes would just go up. No discussion. Spending cuts would be small and targeted.

Tax increases are going to be based on eliminating loopholes and cuts will be real and severe.

It isnt Pubs this time. We are offering deals and the Dems are not countering.

So either they are unwilling to compromise or they sense a political advantage in the cliff,
