How about that..... Topic

And I know that public opinion doesnt change the facts but...

Did you notice that when Obama was talking about this issue the stations that were tracking responses showed that Pubs in Indies split from him and only Dems stayed with him?

STUDY: Recent heat spike unlike anything in 11,000 years

WASHINGTON (AP) - A new study looking at 11,000 years of climate temperatures shows the world in the middle of a dramatic U-turn, lurching from near-record cooling to a heat spike.

Research released Thursday in the journal Science uses fossils of tiny organisms to reconstruct global temperatures back to the end of the last ice age. It shows how the globe for several thousands of years was cooling until a dramatic spike in the 20th century.

Study author Shaun Marcott says his data shows that 1900 to 1910 was one of the coolest in the past 11,300 years. Yet 100 years later, the decade was one of the warmest.

Marcott and other scientists say the long-term context indicates global warming isn't natural but man-made since the start of the Industrial Revolution.

It's the resurrection of the hockey stick!  Hooray for desperation!

Who ******* cares if its getting warmer out... we will grow oranges in Minnesota.

Exactly.  Even if it is happening, and man is the cause, why is it bad?  For example, preventing another ice age is by definition good:

Scientists say that if natural factors were still governing the climate, the Northern Hemisphere would probably be destined to freeze over again in several thousand years. "We were on this downward slope, presumably going back toward another ice age," [Oregon State University's Shaun] Marcott said.
Instead, scientists believe the enormous increase in greenhouse gases caused by industrialization will almost certainly prevent that.

This is inteesting.

They believe that Global Warming isnt natural just because of the fact that they have never seen this before in 11,000 years.

This is just another example of global warming crazies relying on another study that is BS:

www.nationalreview.com/planet-gore/342519/hockey-stick-back-greg-pollowitz

And I will say it again:  China, India, Brazil, and the rest of the developing world are spewing carbon into the air, and cutting down trees, like it is a contest.  The developed world could all cut their emissions to ZERO and it wouldn't make a damn difference.  So if carbon from man is causing global warming, the game is up.

Now stop wasting all our money on energy sources that are expensive as hell.

it sucks for the disease and the host when the disease gets so strong the host dies

sure the disease lives on in other hosts

but the disease that matters to me won't live here no more

cause the host is dead and the disease got nothing to eat

So were are we....

1 There is a growing movement in the scientific community that opposes the idea of man made global warming.

2 There is growing evidence of attempts to cover up data that would conflict with the "Accepted" version of reality.

3 There is a history of science trying to sell us disaster scenarios that proved false later.

4 A lot of the weight to change the very nature of our economy to fix this issue is coming from political and not scientific groups. Groups that are not friendly to business.

So you make the call....

I will try to explain it slowly for you mouth breathers.

If it gets warmer and the polar caps melt, the oceans rise and will 1) swamp the coasts and islands and 2) push ocean water up the rivers that feed the ocean killing of river species and plants along the river.

The drought in the midwest gets much worse and crops won't grow making food hard to grow and more expensive to get.

As a noted scientist once said. "How are you going to replace Iowa?"

Some of you people are so ******* stupid I have trouble believing you are able to remember to breathe.

How do you replace Iowa?  With two of the biggest countries in the world, you mental midget:  Canada and Russia.
