I looked at the performance histories of 1977 Enos Cabell (948 Fld % / 3.33 Range), 1972 Richie Hebner (.969 / 2.62) and 1978 Enos Cambell (.958 / 2.95) and the answer (at least for OLs) came as a big surprise:
(1) 1977 Enos Cabell (C/A-)
(2) 1978 Enos Cabell (B/ C-)
(3) 1972 Richie Hebner (A/ D-)
By the way, it wasn't even that close. However, keep in mind this can change depending on your pitching staff.
=================================================
However, given offense, I probably go
(1) 1972 Richie Hebner (defensive adjusted line of .304/.372/.455, saves $24K on pitching)
(2) 1977 Enos Cabell (.294/ .322/ .433/ $76Kp)
(3) 1978 Enos Cabell (.305/ .326/ .391/ $48Kp)
