just seen the news that he has a torn UCL. He had a great season. Just wanted to get some opinions on how much you think he'll cost? I'm thinking in low 6mil range but i'm probably way off.

That looks dead on. 2003 Pedro is closest comp I could find in the WIS draft center. 9 more innings, better ERA, worse WHIP and ERA+ than Harvey. $6.87M if his $/IP is $38,500.

I'm guessing his low bb/9 rate and exemplary Hr/9+ will put him in the $37,000 $/ip range meaning he'll cost about $6.6m     Looks as if we're all guessing similar salary figures.  I  recall going through this exercise for Strasburg during his rookie season and I hit the number within ~$100k
