their blatant boosterism and cultish following of seble's announcement only serve to encourage the arguably misguided approach taken by WIS.

The decline of the game rests firmly on the shoulders of those who do not speak to power, who do not challenge authority.

They should hold their tongues and keep their praise - based on limited knowledge and experience - to themselves. Obviously, it is really a misstep to encourage by praise such misguided behavior.

I am being sarcastic. But isnt this about the same as the argument that folks who foresee problems should be good soldiers on behalf of the game and just keep their doubts and concerns to themselves? if you think not, whats the difference?

Every complaint that begins like this: “However, past experience … “ or continues like this: “over a period of years” is not really part of the conversation. It is nothing but background noise. That is what some veterans of this game have reduced themselves to. That is very sad to see.

Kudos to the veterans that are actually living in the present and cooperating to help produce what appears to be a promising beta so far. There are things that need work, obviously. But the progress is there to see for those who aren’t living in the past.

I don't think anyone wants to "leave" HD, everyone ****** off has been around and invested a lot of time into teams and has had HD be a significant form of entertainment, but seble has labeledus all as haters and won'r listen to anything because he'd rather listen to somecoaches with 5 seasons of coaching and cater to them thinking they might stay around longer if we ******* laughably taunt open jobs at D1 to them(yeh ******* respond to that thread chapel thats seble level stupidity in that dumb *** post of yours).

only, hes already made a half dozen changes (plus probably two dozen bug fixes) and hes got a list of about 10 more changes he wants to get done in the next round, with more to come. how can you say he's not listening to anyone with sense? he's not listening to you, but if he was, he'd be proving your point.

seble has been acting on feedback from guys like OR and chapel, and many other reasonable HD coaches. you are so blinded by your bias its incredible.

Why is it promising? What improvements from the current game does it offer, in your opinion?

Spud is the proverbial pot calling kettle black. He is the ultimate background noise. He doesn't actually add any insight on his own, but tacks on a "rah rah" or "boo boo" to other's posts.

I disagree. Not having to send 10 scouting trips and still not knowing if a guard is high-high in speed is going to be nice.

Lengthening the cycles to 6 hours could also be a nice improvement.
