I have not been able to get a solid PG the last couple years recruiting, so i'm a little weak there.  I think i found one with Thomas now, but he's a freshman and an F in the offense.  I won't win it all with this team, but should have a tourney team, so don't want to sacrifice the year starting Thomas.  Johns the best combo in bh/pas, but is slow for a pg.  I would appreciate all opinions. Thanks!

I'd start Crisp at PG with Thomas backing him up and I would have Johns starting at SG

I like Crisp @ PG out of the options you have.

Another vote for crisp..

i'm not as experienced as most people here but i'd probably go..

PG - Crisp, Thomas
SG - Johns, McKever

Or if you dont want to start Kelson @ SF you could start Johns at SF and McKever @ sg but i think you have only 4 guards that are worthy of minutes right now (werner is pretty terrible and you have PF that have stats better than his for the guard positions)

Thanks. Werner has massive potential at ball handling and passing according to scouting. I was thinking rist at sf.

I figured he was high-high in those 2 categories or was at least hoping for your sake he was high high in bh at the very least..and when I said terrible I meant currently.. Wasn't trying to be harsh/rude about it :)

No. You are absolutely right that's why I made sure I scored the highs.

This would be my starting lineup with that team, FWIW:

1 - Crisp
2 - Johns
3 - Rist
4 - Monahan
5 - Good

You've built a solid team.

One thing to consider though is that even with high-high potential, if his starting ratings are too low, he'll still only end up with average to mediocre ratings.  It's a fine line and you've got to be careful, even if those potentials ARE high-high.

You seem to be running a flex.  According to Al Black and other mega successful coaches, flex values PE and passing, while motion values Athletecism and ball handling-a matter of degree, certainly, but right now, your team looks more geared toward a motion.  But agree on Crisp and Johns.  With your surplus of big guys, would be tempted to play Monahan at SF, with Good and Rist as the bigs.  Somehow, good bigs don't score as much in HD as in real life, so like to look at AT, rebounding and defense for bigs.

I appreciate all the input.  Thanks for the refresher course TL.  Its been a couple months since i looked back at that page.  I've looked for a stud pg for a while but its been difficult. i think i finally found it will Thomas.  He should end up 70+ in bh and passing.
