ive been reading several threads today. for instance, i learned that i was definitely undervaluing SPD/BH when it comes to 3pt shooters. so anyways...my question for this thread being...what shooting %s do you guys aim for? for big men...is 50% good and 55% great? for guards...45% good and 50% great? how about 3pt shooting exclusively...40% good and 45% great? just curious as to everybodys opinion...

For 3 pt. shooting, 33.3% is the equivalent of 50% from inside.  So a 45% shooter  from 3's would be phenomenal.

i understand the math behind this...but i would think i would want my 3pt shooters to convert a higher percentage than the math suggests, for the simple fact that you rarely draw fouls shooting 3s

Those numbers are exactly the ones I use
