I would only cut him if I had enough cash to recruit a player to replace him. No sense in replacing him with a walk-on.

Keep him. The guy could very well end up being in the top 5 rebounders in school history and there is no way you are going to find someone to replace that type of production even if you switch defenses and/or offenses. I personally would start Scaggs and Harris and slow the game down as much as possible to keep them on the floor as much as you can and try to out rebound every team you play with the SRs. Then hope you can make the PIT or NT to get a prestige bump to recruit the following season.

I would keep him and I am a total ATH-DEF whore.   I don't think I would start him (but I didn't look at your team) but he's a force off the bench.   I would try to get him to destroy backups.   I think he could easily be an efficeint  13 pt guy in 14 minutes a game.

Seems pretty obvious what to do if it were my team and my player.  This one's a no-brainer.  In fact, on that team, he wouldn't be the first player I would cut.  Not the second player either.  Easy answer.

When I saw this thread, I expected to click the link and see a terrible player. Instead I saw a solid player who may lack a few key areas - you may not have recruited him yourself, but he's not bad at all.

Keep him all the way.

I was only thinking about dumping him to start fresh. he may put up decent numbers this season, but i could potentialy benefit more from a freshman who learns my new defense and can actually play defense. thanks all for the input
