I'm not a fan of the "come chat with me!" or "come play video games with me!" trend of OT posts, but before them, OT posts were scarce and usually full of very interesting thoughts.  Hopefully we get a return to that.

OT posts from Al, I look at and read with interest.  Almost all other OT posts, I ignore.

There are other forums that are designed specifically for off topic posts, so I'm not really sure why so many of them are showing up.

They are all good to me. It shows that they are interested enough in HD to post something on the forums. 90% of them are basketball related anyway so where's the problem with that? If someone wants to post about a chat room or look for competition for an Xbox game is that so much less interesting than the 14,317th posting of the SHHH-BANG email?

I like the off topic threads and check the coaching changes thread most days.  Really the on topic threads are usually the worst.  2/3 of on topic threads could be eliminated if the author was aware of how to use the search function.
