Right, just think about what kind of FG miss you would get more mad at as a fan...a 20 yarder, or a 50 yarder...which should the kicker have more likely made?

In the pay league I play in, the FG point structure is:

<29 yards = 2 points make / -2 miss
30-39 yards = 2 points make / -1 miss
40-49 yards = 3 points make
50+ = 4 points make

In other words, logical.
