I'm running a 6-6-0-0 class structure at DII Cal-Davis because hey, why not.  Here's what I've done, with the most recent year being the 12-upperclassmen year of the cycle:

62 cornfused 24-8 8-4 12-2 4-2 11-5 6 12 2 A NT At-large Bid
NT (Final Four)
61 cornfused 19-10 10-3 8-5 1-2 8-8   49 59 B- NT At-large Bid
NT (2nd Round)
60 cornfused 5-22 2-11 3-10 0-1 1-15   186 59 C
59 cornfused 19-16 10-5 4-10 5-1 7-9   44 11 B PI Champion
58 cornfused 20-10 8-7 10-1 2-2 11-5 22 20 10 B NT At-large Bid
NT (Sweet 16)
57 cornfused 15-14 9-5 5-7 1-2 8-8   63 20 C NT At-large Bid
NT (1st Round)
56 cornfused 6-21 1-9 5-11 0-1 1-15   191 97 D+
55 cornfused 2-25 1-11 1-13 0-1 0-16   244 105 D
54 Sim AI 6-21 4-10 2-10 0-1 2-14   184 59 D+

Would my DI job opportunities improve or get worse if I wait to jump until next year (assuming that I post something along the lines of 20-10 with an NT appearance but one or zero wins)?  It'd be another good year, but an extra year away from this year's F4.

Just from an outsider looking in, I took a look at your roster. It appears you have a flaw in your 6-6-0-0 structure for next year. From the WE's it appears your going to loose at least 1 if not 2 of your Juniors. If so you will have only 4 or 5 Seniors. With 6 Seniors yoour 2nd year is usually worst than your 6-6-0-0 year. If you lose both it could be bumpy. Might have a major impact on job's after next year.

The season already ended so his juniors can't leave now.

I thought they left when the team rolls over, which would be Friday in Crum. I've been fortunate enough (and in some cases unfortunate enough) that a player has never transferred. Is this true that they will leave as soon as the season is over?

Yes, they leave at rollover. It's not possible to leave before that.

diminished work ethic of a non-incoming player (freshman or juco or transfer signed this season) in no way indicates a player will transfer. it only indicates its remotely possible they will transfer. the vast majority of the time, they will not. promises are totally different.

I thought they announced if they were quitting the same time as early entries? I haven't had a player quit in ages so I've forgotten. But players disappear from schools with EEs.

Corn, not to hijack your thread but if you find a job you can work with then I'd jump ship now unless you have a lot of faith in your returning players.

They're not leaving.  Anyone got an opinion on my original question?
