Just starting to run FCP and was wondering how important DEF rating is in this set for DIV I. I'm  looking more at ATH/SPD.

I have a hard time ranking speed, defense, and athleticism.

If I was running a press team, I would certainly consider all three "cores"  for the 1-3.   

Obviously getting the maximum amount in each category would be ideal (Ath, Spd, and Def).   I think the point being made is that concentrating on two at the expense of the third is very likely a disaster waiting to happen in D1. 

there is definitely a bit of a different feel to the ratings, speed plays a bigger part in steals and generating turnovers. low defense in particular seems to bring in a lot of fouls. you can certainly sacrifice a bit of any of the 3, without getting yourself in much trouble, but low ratings in 2/3 can be pretty painful. i think speed and defense in general are more important than ath, at the 1-3, in the press. if there is 1 i have to take 70 on, with 90 in the others, i wouldn't hesitate to pick ath.
