which guy is more in touch with the spiritual realm?
4/26/2016 7:33 AM
Jr PF. At the 5 spot. I like the Sr at the 4th spot.

That's where I play them Z!

show me on this doll where the spirit realm touched you.

The Jr. PF shots 50% on 180 FGA, the SR C shot 53.5% on 140 FGA.

I assumed the higher LP/ATH guy would be much better so his distro was higher for most of the season. I guess in the big picture there isn't that much of a difference but the numbers surprised me.

I guess SPD/PER/BH is more important than I thought in post players.

What about FT rate and FT%?
4/26/2016 3:27 PM
The Jr. took 107 FTA, the Sr. took 97. They both shot 74%.

How do calculate FT rate? FTA/minute or FTA/FGA?

If it's the latter lower ATH guy got fouled more often.
4/26/2016 4:24 PM
Yup I use latter as well.
4/26/2016 4:31 PM
It should be somewhere in between.

FWIW, I would have picked guy #2 to be the better offensive option in any offense except triangle, in the triangle I'd call it 6 to one... I've had pretty good luck with some PFs with good speed and BH and adequate LP and ATH.

I actually like the Sr C better as a scorer.

The jr PF has athleticism and low post skills, however doesn't have any perimeter or ballhandling to help out his scoring abilities.

The sr C has lower athleticism and low post moves, however he can score a bit further out because of his 33 perimeter rating and use his speed and ballhandling skills to slash to the basket if he catches the ball 10-15 feet out from the basket.

Senior also has a better free throw rating to go along with it.

So 18 points of speed, 23 points of Perimeter and 36 points of BH are worth more than 11 points of ATH and 19 points of LP, in a vacuum.
Name Yr. Pos. A SPD REB DE BLK LP PE BH P WE ST DU FT OVR
1 Jr. PF 80 1 80 1 10 10
2 Sr. C 60 40 50 40 40 10

So in the above scenario, player 2 would normally be the more efficient scorer, right?

Probably too small of a sample size and too many variables, but based on this one example, then yes.
