Just to echo what others have said re: the cap - I think 42 mil at this point makes a draft league, specifically, less fun because you have to focus so much on just grabbing minutes fillers instead of true good bargain players. The old 42 mil cap was great - you could have really good players, but bargains were still important and fun to find. I think 45 mil would be a good approximation of that. I realize some people like the greater "challenge" of building a 42 mil team w/ current salaries, but for me the fun is about more than just the challenge.
And it's not just about being lazy or whatever - owners of several of the most successful teams of the last go-around are among the ones promoting change. Having to scramble just to get to 19000 minutes just isn't all that fun for a lot of us.
