Kidding aside, these day my team design is basicly..draft a high PER team. I feel that if I draft a good passing team that I can manufacture FG%, and if I draft a heavy defense I can stop you from doing the same. My view on boards is that I need +48 rpg and o-rbd are less important when you shoot an average of +54% as a team. Even though my o-rbds look weak, when you check them verses, missed fga, they're usually average. In my first five, I drafted Def93,74,74,70,60, this should have a solid impact on a sub-par FG% draft. The def93 & def74 in the backcourt will definately impact a perimeter shooting draft such as this one. The usage is high and well distributed. Then there's my "Closer".. Darth Wade! I'm pretty happy with the team so far. I have 7 rounds to find enough boards and there's never enough ast.

Thanks smokey. I've learned to try to place nice with everyone, even when there are conflicts among various people on here. I used to have issues with a few people, but I think at least as far as I'm concerned its all in the past now.

Smokey you should come back to the ODL, we are only 4 away from filling.

Now is when this draft gets intense, because odds are the guys you are deciding between will be long gone by the next round.

Smokey if you want 20% dreb at PG then you'll have to play KG there, but I guess at 60% he will only give you a 14.4.

ya know...when the draft started and i picked dwight i said to myself "focus on defense, run half-court, keep it clean"

i wanted to try to do something else besides the usual efg/rebs/poor d/dirty squads i tend to build

and what happens?...first i say "well you cant pass on calderon...hes the best pg left with over 2k mins and hes an insanely good offensive player"

then in the 3rd its "well you cant pass on evans..hes the rodman of this league"

now its "dont pass on landry...54% shooting and 10%oreb from the sf spot?...you need that"

i just cant help myself....

so once again...an uptempo dominant efg and rebound team that plays sh!tty d and will turn it over and foul too much...at least itll be fun

dh, I know what you mean, I look at players I'd like to take for offensive reasons then take the highest def I can instead. I'm pretty sure it's a form of OCD...lol

also, i am going to destroy offensive rebounds.  and i got some work to do to round the edges.

We'll see about my squad.  Shoddy D, strong boards, reasonable threes, mostly decent shooting, fouls and TOs in control, good assists.  Going to get some lower usage guys and may start some to balance out what I have, but I didn't want to wait on usage/minutes combos.
