NOTICE - rubnsly has raised the question of using 30 time slots in the DDL draft. So I'm polling the membership wrt this matter. What say ye???

DH, you got lucky, I had it down to Mike Green & Alvan Adams. I couldn't let a center that pass's better than half the point guards in this league slip past me. You'll be glad to hear you screwed me..again, I was hoping to take him 4th to finish my 3 man front count. First the random draft, then the Conf Finals and now you snake Green on me...your really working over my last good nerve. You need to hide when you see me coming this season!

Na!  In fact I'd like to see 90 minute time slots until 5pm, then an hour after that.  That's how a lot of drafts are done

I've seen a lot of 30 min slots in leagues, one hour is more common. Never seen 90 min, that's too long..  I'd prefer 30 min, if you start at 9AM you can almost double up on the number of picks in a day.

haha....thats just poor luck on your part with mike green...i didnt really plan on taking him until some last min searches for efg% with at least 50% paint told me he was harder to find then a rebound/defense guy

DH, the funny thing is I have Mike Green on my 2x championship prog team, I traded Johnny Green for an early draft pick, then took Mike Green with the pick...lol. Even vertual life is strange sometime... Either way he's a very good player in a 70's era league and so is Johnny.  I didn't want to give up Johnny Green, but to get 5th pick you need to give up something. After 2 ship's I'm pretty sure it was an upside trade...lol.

Hey DH, did I mention that I have 3 ship's in 70's era leagues...oops, maybe I should have mention that earlier. Oh well...too late to run now. LMFAO

yup..2 different teams, 5 seasons, 4 trips to the Finals and 3 rings. I'm pretty comfy in the 70's.

1 hour during the day and 30 minutes after 6PM seems reasonable to me.

How about 30 minutes per slot in rounds 9 & 10?

Also, this time of year, 30min/slot M-F 10:00-10:00 EDT, that way we would each get 1 pick/day and just kick it on the weekends. What do you think of that plan?

I'm all for speeding it up smokey.  

As it is now, I picked in the 4th round at 1 pm on Monday.  I'm not scheduled to pick in the 5th until Thursday at 9 pm?  Damn,. thas a looonnng wait!
