tang, go back a few posts to when longtallbrad asked the same question... you'll find your answer
I just read that but this format don't work for the 90s and 2000s you're in a disadvantage for picking first these works for the 60s and 70s where you get someone soo dominant like Wilt, Kareem, Moses, Dr. J, Gilmore, etc that you might argue the quick turn in the 2nd round isn't enough to balance it.... but this format give you 2 very good starters and a good starters while 1-15 gets a stud a good starter and so-so with tendency to be bad starter....

when did made this change this thing favors when you pick from 15-30! this is BS! what is the point of finally getting a high pick to be royally screwed this way...
Commish spoke to this on page 16.  Looks like we pause for the weekend, so not sming
why wouldnt you...this is how we move drafts forward
10/4/2013 7:45 PM
Point taken, dudes.  We'll see how the season shakes out.  But I shudder to imagine who my fifth starter might be.

Wow, a guy takes a nap and all hell breaks loose...****. 1)  We can keep drafting and I'll up date the board. I'll sm everyone in a few min's. 2) tang this is how the draft has always run,,damn I'm one pick away from you. I really think it is the correct way to balance the draft and we've done it this way from the start. The player pool is plenty deep, I just pick two solid players and my mock draft says NP building off of 5th pick. This particular draft really needs to be balanced  those first 10 picks are damn had to overcome any other way. The weekend has to be off-the-clock now, we can discuss running the draft w/o stopping on the weekend this week. So..Keep the Draft Going Off-the-clock.

your drafting skills are below average to even get in a conversation with me and MJ or anyone in the top 6 aren't as dominant as say wilt in the 60s or Kareem in the 70s.... I just looked and the squads by the 20 pick to 30 already got two very
good players and the disparity is getting worse.... and if I was getting MJ in real life then I would be cool but I am not so statically speaking or anyone don't justify... lastly what do have to offer Mr. Malone and first rounds can't be traded...

IMO I'm a pretty  easy commish, except when it come to the size of the draft pool..then I'm a dick. These procedure were put there by consensus, everyone had plenty of opportunity to be heard. The DDL has work better than I ever expected. If you look at the RBD the top 10 picks are still in the drivers seat, this 3rd round will balance that to a degree. It's still an uphill battle when someone has the only Karl Malone coming at you. The DDL was designed to get harder as it moves though the 5 decades, note we have two more to go..lol.

translation: I just don't want to argue even though I know my team is in a disadvantage.
