Blue Barons the first pick for Red Box ?!?!?!

That too is insane !!! WTF?

while I may not have the strongest team, I didn't think I had the worst either...
The worst formt he other two submissions had Blue Barons 10th and 13, middle of the pack....

I have sm'd the div leaders and requested that they resubmit a 'rank list' to me asap. They may change their original list, or not, as they choose. I will reset the divisions once I have the lists. btw - This in no way effect the ODL XLV 'Jacka$$' award...pls put your teams in the league. I'll pull my team until we have a resolution wrt to div assignment...ugh.

remember back when I said drafting divisions was a bad idea and was literally the only person that voted against it?  ;)

I don't care.  On one hand, I have to face 4 of the best owners in the sim - not to mention the guy who has had my number for years! - a total of 40 times.  That's rough.  On the other hand, if I can win that division, I should be in a great position in the playoffs since they will all have to go from round 1 & I will have a bye.  I just went through a pretty hellish division in the funk52, so... bring it.

Yeah this defeats the purpose of balanced divisons


IMO, this is not about balanced divisions..it's about screwing the other guy. As such, I thought bandit screwed everybody...whahoo! But I'm the commish and have to consider everyone. What a buzzkill...

If you want to really screw your buddy, draft the divisions before you draft your teams. In the DDL scud and I were having it out and elei was being quiet, while screwing both of us. cmac screwed the whole western conf. Gawd I love that league...

Hey, I voted against it too. Maybe we should revisit this matter during the up coming season. I would table drafting the divisions before drafting the teams. IMO the owners name is more important than the actual teams, as it stands now. A civil discussion would be most productive.

I look and don't see any easy divisions. There's nowhere to hide in the ODL..isn't that why we're here? Two of the div leaders have said "no change" to the list, one more and the divisions stay as listed. Bandit could have given me a strongest to weakest list and nothing would be different. The rules allow for him to do that, and we are 'locked-in' for ODL XLV wrt the current set of rules. It appears we're in the smokey57 era of this grand old league, I run leagues by consensus. We each have an equal investment in time, effort & money, if there is a strong consensus for a rules change, I will change it. Otherwise I view this as jockeying for position...well done. Now let's play...
