That Bird-Erving pair does sound great. But even better- TMac and Rodman. McGrady can shoot all day, and Rodman just cleans up whatever doesn't go in.

a more realistic pairing might be Moncrief/Bird or Erving/Marshall duo - Durant/Moncrief also

I don't understand how Rodman-TMac is unrealistic. Rodman is an early first rounder, McGrady went mid-third round. Please explain how it would be unrealistic. I really don't understand.

it's not? my counters were intended as more realistic than Bird/Erving - which anyway could totally happen as Erving some times slips into the second round - I would say that Rodman/TMac is no better than any number of Rodman+ matches and isn't even really in the spirit of 'complimentary' originally intended - Rodman + Dirk might be more in the theme where Rodman's high ORB from SF allow you to use Dirk despite his low ORB from PF

True... LBJ/MJ/Wilt/Rodman plus anybody is a good pairing.

last draft i went for rodman + tmac and dirk...almost got it...would have been sweet

No, i was saying LeBron OR Jordan OR Wilt OR Rodman plus almost anybody else is a good pair. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Cookie anyone??? I see the team this way..#1 offense, top 5 defense, top 5 on the glass, top 5 dimes, top 5 steals, with low average tov/pf rate. My first 5 run ~112% usage. 50%fg & 77%ft. What's a block? At 19.4 min's I wish I had more. I'm think'n...120ppg, 52 boards, 30 dimes, 11 stls, 5 blks, 18 tov & 19pf.

Playoffs? - good luck keep'n us out !!!

I've seen Rodman teams do well in the past.  However, I've never been able to use him before in a draft :(  I don't think I've ever selected in the top 10 before.

i won 50+ with him last season...didnt have much luck in the playoffs though
