people get too ambitious.  Just do running commentary & then evaluate at the end.  That's how I always did it... and I completed it often.

Thanks for finishing up my round 3 eval postage.  Though with cp3 and Mr. Big Shot I don't think one of my biggest needs is backcourt defense.  Pretty sure I have that covered with those two.

99% going to use 06-07 Duncan at this point.  Give me more boards & dimes... oh, and money.  That's pretty important!

Why did I pick Shawn Bradley in the 5th? Well a lot of the low usage centers that usually get picked in the 5th or 6th like Tree and Eaton are getting a little more love lately. Bradley has 87D, over 30% TRB, low usage, reasonably low fouls and TO's and a low salary. And did I mention a great FT% and he blocks some shots? I used to get bashed all the time 5 years ago for taking guys like Tree and Eaton. So I was prepared for the Bradley jokes. There were a few high scoring centers available, but they didn't fit. Cheap 3's are a dime a dozen off the bench as evident with Griffin and Rose. I like to have around 400 made 3pts and I'll have no trouble getting to that. I still need a few more rebounds and FTA with my 3M left for 5 spots, but we'll figure it out. No defender with less than a 70D I hope helps.

I won't be using the most expensive versions of any of my first 3 picks. Just not enough salary. My original thought was to use 29DReb Mutombo and 90D Moses and try to own the boards. The sacrifice in defense is worth the money savings. Oscar doesn't really fit with this team, but he adds another rebounder at the point. Also, I thought Steph or Mookie would fall to me in the 3rd, so I had to redirect.

As for shooting, between Barry, Oscar, and Prince I have over 350 3PM and solid (not great) perimeter defense. The issue for me is finding a way to fill the bench with guys I can trust. Guys I thought would last (Batum, Kawhi, Horry, Posey) are gone so I am trying to think of backups who won't kill me on the wings. Plus, I may have to switch back to monster Moses since I can't find a backup PF who doesn't make a mess of things. I was looking at Henson for awhile and even that fell through.

I went with Johnson because he fits the usage/D model set by prince and I basically have the same guy at SF all game long. I took Charlie V, because I'm still trying to figure out the bench situation, and he has a range of salaries that I though would be easy to squeeze in. AKA if I don't want him, I'll use his 300k season.

13-14 Westbrook is the backup I really want to put behind Brandon. I think I be using the 10-11 Josh Smith Season.

another one bites the dust.....

im telling ya...its damn near impossible to do a running eval...i think vance or maybe nate did it once...but every time i see someone try it, they do a few teams and then never finish the rest

trust me...its a whoooole lot easier just to wait til the end and then do a full team eval...that way you have all that time between the start of the 6th round and when the league finally fills to get them done

It was vancem who kept the evals current. He was awesome on the evals when he won the back-to-back dh$52's and if you remember he and I did dual evals for the ODL about a year ago. I had to play catch-up while he stayed pretty current.

Again, solid job postage, even if you were to stop now you've done a great job, I for one understand the time required to make these things top-shelf, and it sure isn't a walk in the park.

Sob, there goes my back-up for Harden. In this league the 13-14 Russell season is fantastic to back up a 6 or 8 point guy at the 1 or the 2, especially with those rebounding numbers.

Matt Maloney will be earning every dollar of his $239k salary and will be getting those 305 minutes and then some.I know I can push Wilt to 48mpg and big minute $8m+ salary guys like Lucas and Pierce can be pushed about 10% extra as well as long as you pull them in the blowouts and avoid too many OT games.
