Marion doesn't have better blocks (Marshall 2.5%, Mat 2.3%), only slightly better stls (which don't do anything anyway), not better TOs (per48s are both 1.8), difference in fouls is insignificant (Marshall = 3.7 per48, Matrix = 3.4), difference in Def is marginal (86 v 89), 2.6 pt difference in efg is sort of significant but we're talking about 2 usage pt players - meanwhile Marshall is a better rebounder and (this is where I think people get fooled on Marion) is much the superior floor stretcher - he takes more threes and makes them at a significantly better rate - and Marshall costs 1.7m less for only 400 less minutes (roughly) - (compared to the 56efg 100% sf available model of the Matrix)
