Who is your early favorite for the season 57 title?

Incarnate Word looks tough.  I think I could just write that for my first post in the D2 thread every year.

Well, signings have started.  How does everyone feel about their classes?  I got 2 guys who have a lot of great potential and am interested to see how high some of their attributes go.

Recruits in the midatlantic were abysmal.  easily the worst since i moved to NJ Tech

I took in 3 good prospects.  One would be great if not for his 15 WE.

agreed... i pulled in a few decent bigs, but the ath. potential isn't what I wanted.  Either way, bad year to have five open spots in the balitmore/philly area

It might have been even worse in TX.  We usually have a decent group of players to pick from, but not this season.  I had to go out to AZ for both of my recruits.  Both ahve a ton of upside potential, so I'm happy with what I got, but I was shocked at how bad the selection was in TX this season.  Maybe this was just a rough batch of recruits all around.  I'm glad I only needed 2 this time.

Except for a few players with stars by their name, TX was a waste of FSS money this year. Worst I've ever seen and I've recruited TX forever. That SR class must be busy playing football... or halo.

Seeing the same reports around the nation. Did HD change the recruit generation engine again?

That said, there were some REALLY GOOD diamonds out there, but D1 swiped them all away (I know first hand).

I thought the Southeast wasn't half bad, but I was at the opposite end of guys.

Sorry to break it to you but I scouted 2 states for this year and it's no better.  At least it seems to be the same across the country and there isn't one area that's still stacked.

Same here bvb.  This season's recruits don't look much better than last.  It seems they have either dialed back the quality of recruits in recruit generation or for some reason the engine isn't spitting out as many high potential players.

I'll also mention Incarnate Word vs Bellarmine.  Greenhawks has had our number, IW is 0-11 lifetime versus Bellarmine.

Game of the night for me is Longwood vs NE State. I'ld take NE State in a close one.

Incarnate Word thumped Bellarmine 83-56.   With one senior and two juniors, I should've just forfeited. LOL
