Those are the 4 best teams right now in my opinion, though I think that NJ Tech is a lot better than their record indicates. Wisc-Parkside is built very similarly to my Longwood team, in my opinion. 

I'll 2nd the NJ Tech comment. 
Lander is an intriguing team.  Although SOS is low, they may go through the regular season undefeated.  If the teams above beat up on each other, maybe they could slide in there.

This thread sure seems a lot quieter than in seasons past...

I agree. What happened? WE ARE IN THE BEST D2 OF ANY WORLD, PEOPLE. SHOW SOME LIFE.

I can say for me weather is warmer therefore less time spent on here.  Interest will pick up a lot more when it get cold again.

I'm sure that does have something to do with it.  I just hope D2 Iba can maintain its edge as by far the top D2 world there is, and having an active forum is part of that.

The yarnell and cvac/heartland threads have been really active. That probably takes some action away from here.

seems it always slows down once conference starts

So what is the most improvement any one has so far on a player?  I have a Jr. that has improved by 54 points so far this season.  

My guys aren't improving much - I'm focusing on upping the IQ's. I like my team a lot this season, but we really only have one reliable top notch scorer (and a bunch of excellent passers/defenders) and I'm used to a lot more balance on my squads. Never won much before with one guy scoring over 20 points a game, and the next guy scoring around 10.

I think the team to beat this season is probably St. Mary's...but it's a tough call. And as a HS math teacher, being caught in the middle of standardized testing and finals, April and May are the two worst months for me to be a super-active poster on the forums.

I hear ya. HS coach here, but I'm also a sub, and so I've been very busy.

But not busy enough to    quit posting 20 times a day. Priorities, priorities.

Your player is the highest I've seen. My highest is around 35.

im fortunate enough to have a job where i can go on the computer and check my team 100 times a day if i want to :)

My top improvement so far is just 33 points.  He is a SR that I signed as a JUCO last season.  He gained 98 points last season and another 17 in the offseason.

My office started blocking the forums about 3 or 4 months ago, so I have to do it on my phone during the day and then I can get on here from home at night.

There doesn't seem to be a single dominant team this season, but there are probably 6-8 teams that have the makeup to make a deep tourney run and win it all.  Should be interesting to see how conference play unfolds.

I've got a redshirt freshman up 40 so far.

I get my regular season shot at St Mary's tonight. What I wouldn't give to be running something other than FB & Press with this team. I've been tempted to change offenses but haven't found the right season to do it.
