Not much movement in the top 5 teams for a while, just some shuffling. Only 4 teams can get a #1 seed. Who gets left out?
St Marys (TX): 18-1, RPI 1, SOS 2. One game remaining vs a top 50 team (@ Rockhurst). Could run into 2 top 50 teams in CT (Rockhurst, Incarnate Word)
Longwood: 18-2, RPI 4, SOS 3. Two games remaining vs top 50 (@ Limestone, @ Erksine). 3 other top 50 teams in CT (previous two + Belmont Abbey)
Wisconsin-Parkside: 19-1, RPI 2, SOS 6. One game vs top 50 (@ S illinois, Edwardsville). 3 other top 50 teams in CT (S Ill Edwardsville, Mercyhurst, U of Indianapolis)
Incarnate Word: 17-3, RPI 3, SOS 1. Done against top 50. 2 top 50 teams in CT (St. Marys & Rockhurst)
Lander: 20-0, RPI 5, SOS 38. Two games remaining against top 50 (Kennesaw St, @ Armstrong Atlantic St). Same two top 50 teams in CT.
Right now Lander is on the outside looking in. Does form hold or do the teams in tough conferences beat up on one another and allow Lander to snag a #1 seed? If Lander went undefeated in the 5th best conference, that's a pretty strong resume.
Is there another team that I'm leaving out of the mix? Limestone? The winner of the Central Atlantic? Make a case for your best 4.
