I used to basically ignore this attribute, in favor of SPD and ELU.   Then I somewhat accidentally ended up with a RB who surprised me and became a stud on my Wishbone team.  He still had very good SPD and ELU, but his STR was way better than my other guys.  I thought he would by my #3 or #4 but ended up starting for over 3 seasons and actually outperformed my #1 guy who was a 4 year stud/starter.

So...its really only one data point, but how much does STR really impact how a RB performs in this game?  

I rate RB's according to STR, SPD, ELUS, TECH or GI, ATH

I also put STR as 3rd on my list and then Blk 4th.  Elu, Spd, Str, Blk...  Then again, my system seems to use FBs a lot and Str seems to improve FB ypc average

i rate ath, spd, str, and elu the same for rb's

I had a guy with 29 strength run for 150 yards against me. I think STR is a "team" averaged attribute, so if your OL has a very high average strength, you can get away with a lower STR RB, and vice versa.

ELU, SPD, STR for me.

STR, I have seen some guys turn out some great RB who didn't have the greatest strength but it is rare

ELU>SPD>STR>ATH>GI>T
