You can cut up to three players from your current roster which will open up scholarships and money for your recruiting efforts. However, cutting players will have a negative impact on your reputation as a coach. This in turn hurts your efforts with recruits but the impact is minimal. Good luck.

If you just took over a team feel free to cut away but anyone that signed on (sim or your own recruit) while you were coach will have a greater effect on your rep.    Cutting also needs to be completed before the season rolls over so it looks like you missed out on it this time around.   If you are aiming to cut players just hop on the day after the national championship game and cut em.

I would not worry too much about rep....if they are crap players...better to take the hit early than to live with crap for 4 seasons.  Now, having said that, you have to be at least a decent recruiter in order to get better players than the ones you cut.  If you end up taking SIM recruits, you are probably worse off.

*definitely* worse off with Sim players that were recruited while you are coach.  Dump those guys; even below-average recruits that you could find as undecided and turn green with an AC scout will be miles better than those, especially if they're good potential.

You need to have another season paid for; then go to your office page and click on the 'Rescind Scholarship' link next to the player.
