Why would someone do this? Topic

I was scheduling some random Exhibition games and coaches weren't responding to challenges in a timely fashion so I ended up just picking two random AI teams.

I see today that I'm a 58 point favorite in one... so I think to myself, "that seems awfully high".

I look at the teams roster, and someone absolutely butchered it on purpose.

Wow - will be interesting to see how badly FVS in Leahy gets killed this season.  If I took them over for a rebuild, I would set their max FG distance to 99.  :)

Because you can never have to may Punters or Kickers, special teams is 1/3 of the game...

It's done to 'get back at WIS'.  It's a way of saying, 'if I can't have fun with this team, then I'll make it so no one else can either'. Petty and immature.

Yeah, coach with no real experience or history, so why he decided to do that I don't know. 

I'd get the "screw you WIS" angle if he was a long-time guy and didn't like the direction things were going.  But this guy had no reason to butcher a team for eternity...  unless a human coach looks at that team as a way to get two huge recruiting classes and play for 2-3 years of success with all JR's and SR's.

There was a guy a while ago when I was in AI that would RC a few key players then RC the rest with K and P. Then he would convert them to other positions. He did this a lot and needless to say he lost a lot.

This guy I would say is just an A - $$ whole to say the least.

There was a coach doing this in Camp. He just left this team. I just figured it was a WIS employee "resetting" a team. I cant believe someone would actually do this.

He at least had 26 successful seasons first.  He was clearly jaded or burnt out.
