Update

I apologize for being fairly inactive yesterday. For tomorrow, I'm planning something special. As already announced, the bracket reveal show is at 3:00PM and the bowl reveal show is immediately after that. Additionally, I am considering a post-season preview show where basically I'll be breaking down some games and my picks for those games. I'm also hoping to bring on rwilcox (ELO ratings) to ask him for odds on a select number of games. This show will take place at around 10 or 10:30 tomorrow night. So, here's my questions:

1. Are you all open to a show that late at night?

2. Do you have any particular desires for the preview show?

Feel free to comment here, or sitemail me.
works better for me as well. Thanks for doing this by the way.

For as long as I have been in Wilkinson D1AA the Ivy league championship game has been a big deal, they have their own micro world within Gridiron Dynasty over there and I am a big fan! It is a shame that Fordham and Penn are now silent, I miss dkreutner and his mighty NDB offense as well as that great Statesman of football senator06. Those guys were top competitors who made the game fun, but it is good to see rwilcox5 and lwb1313 in there picking up the slack. This should be another exciting championship game over there in Ivy, and now we have several other leagues who will have big match ups tonight in their championship games. Wilkinson World is rocking right now and I'm expecting it to continue to grow!

I agree with you pete. Both of those guys showed me how the game was played, especially dkreutner, who showed me how to rebuild a sim team.

I usually catch your shows later so the time doesn't matter. I like having rwilcox with his ratings on. It is interesting. I know you will come up with something good.

Just an FYI: I have not heard from rwilcox, I assume he's pretty busy. Anyways, tomorrow evenings show will be you guys calling in and asking a question or making a quick point. You can ask about the show, playoffs, tell me I'm a bad host...etc. But all of that will happen during the 10/10:30 show. (I'll give you a definite time tomorrow).

So, here is the lineup for tomorrow:

3:00 PM EST - D1AA Bracket Reveal Show

Immediately after - D1A Bowl Reveal Show

Late night - Post-season Anything Goes Show

As a long standing and highly successful coach in D1AA with Hampton, I've developed a great deal of respect for the quality of coaches at 1AA. As such I'm calling the best of you out, right here and right now. Below is an excerpt of my post in the 1AA forum, feel free to go there for the full rambling rant:

2) I'll put out a standing offer to give a gift certificate good for two seasons of WIS Gridiron Dynasty to the first team that ends my run in the WAC by beating us in the conference championship or replaces me in the conference championship by beating us. This offer isn't good if we both go undefeated in WAC play but you get the CC bid because of my murderous OOC schedule and I lose the tiebreaker. I know that there are a ton of great coaches in D1AA and I'm calling you out directly. If I can build a team like this in the WAC, you can too and have me pay for your season(s). This offer applies until I get sick enough of Gator/Outback bowls that I rage quit. It will definitely last at least until Robert Bailey's graduation. If we can get enough good teams into the WAC, I'll be happy to pay and to stay.

So if you have been thinking about moving up to 1A but didn't know where to go or what challenge to accept, allow me to both sweeten the pot and directly challenge your manhood. Come to the WAC and lets build a non BCS conference into a power conference -- I'm tired of fighting the elite powers alone.

I read your great rant cjl9652 and having coached at Navy in Heisman I understand the difficulties. But why not drop back down to D1AA where the playing field is more even and we have this extremely competitive playoff system going on right now? I like D1A okay and I know that a lot of people see it as more prestigious to play at that level, but to me D1AA is a lot more relaxed and fun plus there are no elites to complain about lol. It seems to me that for the most part we move up to D1A and try to build up a resume good enough to get one of those elite schools one day, if you can't beat'em then you are going to have to wait on a good opportunity to join them. That's what I did at Navy, but believe me, being at an elite school also has its challenges!
