I am assuming we can pick at our scheduled time even if someone ahead of us has not claimed a player, correct darny?

We really shouldn't have started this draft until next Monday, since it's a holiday week in both Canada and the US. Plus, the first round should never be limited to a half hour per pick.  Subsequent rounds are fine, but not the 1st round - it's too important., especially since we weren't given any advance notice by sitemail that we were starting. A lot of people may not even know that they are up and/or that their slot has already passed.

I don't have you blocked. I'm also not the only one who feels this way. Check the original thread in the classifieds.

What happens if 1/3 of the 1st round picks don't get made because people aren't around or don't know the draft has started?

I'm on vacation as well with no Internet access. Really disappointed I missed my pick. 3rd overall! And now a late 2nd rounder. Sucks.
