The first round bye counting as 3 playoff wins was paired with play-in round wins counting as post-season, right.  It's both or neither, but I don't care which way you want to go.  The rest of it looks fine to me.
Yes.  So in this scenario, first round/play in round games count and if you do not have them because of a bye, you automatically get the three wins.

I think that was my original recommendation in the thread. I stand by this for my bet with Fregoe.

Well, I looked through stuff and couldn't find the final rendition, but found some quality notes.  I also honestly can't remember if it was 50 points or 100 points.

What do you say to this:
Regular season win worth 1 point
Post season win worth 10 points
World Series appearance worth 25 bonus points
World Series win worth 50 bonus points
You are spotted 100 points.
First round bye counts as three playoff wins (rlahaan mentioned this in one of the threads and I think it makes more sense than ignoring it).
Over five seasons, bet is 50 dollars.

I am not married to any of that, but we need all the rules and caveats down in written officially in one central place, so chime in with what you want.
So a WS win is worth 75?

Bobbi Leigh - the only change I would like to make is remove the WS appearance points/ WS Champ points and make the playoff points incresing by round.

5 points for play in round (auto 15 points for bye), 10 points for LDS wins, 15 points for LCS, and 20 for WS wins.
WS would be worth 115 points. 50+25+10X4 Seems like a lot of double counting.

No.  I should have rephrased that.  WS loss is 25, WS win is 50.  You don't get both.

I do sort of like the tiered playoff points idea.

What about play-in round worth two points per win (bye week gets you six)
Next round is 5 per win
Third round is 10 per win
WS is 20 per win.

No bonuses.

What do you think TM?

That's fine.

All right, TM to confirm but this looks like our official bet:

Regular season win worth 1 point
Division Play-n Series wins worth 2 points
Division Championship Series wins worth 5 points
League Championship Series wins worth 10 points
World Series wins worth 20 points
TM spotted 100 points.
First round bye counts as six points
Over five seasons, bet is 50 dollars

Standings posted at the end of each season.
