Any scrubs dropped can just be free pickups after the 6 round draft.

Anyone drafted for 1973 can be used for 3 years(same version) - (first year 71,72,73), (second year 72,73,74), (and third year 73,74,75).

That is correct.

I am willing to have the DH if enough owners agree to it. My reasoning for not having it though is if you have 18 Main players, 8 of them will most certainly be hitters that cover the 8 fielding positions, and the other 10 would be pitchers. If you throw in a full-time DH hitter then that will take away a pitcher. Probably not a major issue as there will be plenty of IP's to use with using 3 seasons at once.

Very weird idea bheid408. And I like it. So I will give it a try.

Though drafting all three seasons simultaneously, if I understand correctly, means each half hour slot on the clock will  have three different owners drafting different seasons at the same time  (owner no.1 for 1971, owner no.24 for 1972, and owner number 12 or 13 for 1973) and each owner will make 3 picks a day (thus owner number 1/1971 would pick at 10 am for 1971, somewhere in the middle of the day for 1973 and around 9.30 pm for 1972). 

This will get drafts done quickly. Though it requires a one-week (6 days for the 6 rounds of the three-season drafts) commitment by owners to be able to pick three times a day for that week. If we can swing it, it will revolutionize prog drafting.

The draft will take 12 days. I thought 3 picks per day for each owner would/could be a bit much. We are only doing half a round (12 picks) per day.
