with his other stats, he should be good for high strikeout numbers, but he will walk guys. If that control gets above 40, he could have a ML career. His ability to strike batters out and induce groundballs should negate all the walks he'd offer up.

Yeah...  my comments rest on "if he hits those projections."

His LH and RH increasing is more integral to his success.

my training budget is currently at 18mil...  he is an IFA and I was going to to go after him but wasn't sure if he would be worth it or not.

Not that I trust your advance scouting much, anyway. How much do you have budgeted?

Those pitches should work well with the splits and overcome the control.  I would definitely use him.

Agreed.

If he gets the splits and pitches up, he can be decent. The VE and GB is already there enough to minimize the damage of the walks.  But it depends just how much he really improves as far as these categories where he has 20+ points to improve. But I'm guessing he's 18, so even taking a season at each level he should be fine to reach those numbers.

In 2 years no doubt.  Probably will look into taking advantage of a forclosure or something in the area when I get a better lay of the land.  Currently without being a real expert on the area, buying a place is probably a bit premature.
