The Big Mac is an iconic American Burger.

It is of course pre-dated by the Big Boy hamburger.

The 2 are very similar in nature.

Del Taco has a double burger that reminds me of the Big Boy.

Dairy Queen has somehow become a high end service.

All the ice cream is soft serve, but the prices are really high.

Got a pecan mudslide. Was ok. Was almost $4.

I am living in Barrow, Alaska and I had a chance to try whale for the fist time.  It was interesting.  I usually like seafood and the taste was similar to scallops of all things.  The texture was different and not completely enjoyable honestly.  Touching the whale after it had been caught felt a little like a wet intertube.  I enjoyed the experience, but would never order if whale was the type of thing you could find a menu.

Videos of the whale being taken out of the water are at:

Both fresh and in a thick soup.  It was better in the soup.  This is what the hunk looked like before it was prepared.

Have you ever tried habenero tobassco?

habenero tobassco ramen?  No.  Maybe I will.

Not Ramen. Just Habenero tobassco. You can put it in your Ramen if you like.

I'm not a huge fan of the taste of tobassco.  I like habeneros, jalapenos (sp?), and many other spices, but tobassco is a little bitter for my tastes.

I understand. I only use it is thing like chili and sauces that i can add some sweet balance to.

Ever try cooking pasta with 6 habeneros in the water. Poke holes in it with tootpicks first, about 8-10 each.

If you are ever in Warren Michigan (Actually Centerline Michigan, a small city inside Warren) and you are craving for an omelette I recomend Martin's on Van Dyke south of 10 mile road.

A huge selection, great taste and big. And a great country gravy.

I recomend the sepcial omelette with biscuits smothered in gravy.
