I also don't try and skim off of my best players in arby and usually get them in a 5 yr deal 'before' they get to that last arby year. Not sure if that helps in the long term for contracts. Probably not.

Yeah, with everyone only having 5 votes, it's probably going to be very tough to ever get more than 3 guys in in a given year.

i think the key was getting several in this year so as to hopefully dilute the pool of strong candidates, of course i have no idea who will become newly eligible in upcoming seasons

I think we're going to consistently have to get similiar numbers in for a couple more seasons to get the initial backlog cleared out.

I think a few will be missed in the clearing out the backlog.

It's certainly possible - how long are guys eligible?

Girlfriend's stepmom basically told me the other day to just give her a list of any Pistons, Red Wings, Lions and any UM sporting event I want to attend and she will make sure I have tickets.  I don't even have to sleep with her either.  I think I like dating wealthy, connected girls.

I looked around on briefly for HBD HOF eligibility rules and found nothing.

Started watching Dexter S5.  Pretty f'ing awful 4 episodes in.

Not sure any show I have ever really been into did well by season five.  I guess S5 of The Wire was still better than any season of any show (except maybe Breaking Bad)...  but it was still probably its worst season and the show ended after that.

All shows should just end after three or four seasons like they do in the UK.

Found the initial update announcement - unless it's changed since it was put in, a guy can be nominated 5 times and then done if they don't get in.

So yeah, I think it's pretty likely we're going to miss some guys in this initial grouping.

I'm about halfway through Season 4 of The Wire.  Will probably watch a bunch of other stuff before I get to Season 5, just because I don't want it to be done.

Season 5 of The West Wing may have been a pretty good one.  I can never remember how that show flowed, but I know it dropped off and then spiked back up before fading into Bolivian.
