The Quetzlcoatl bring back 1-10 on the pitching staff. We lost our long-time starting catcher, TJ Peters, and injury-prone 3B David Xiao, but we've had capable replacements in the pipeline. I am hoping to get a little better defensively at catcher and 3B, and not lose too much offensive production in the process. The roster is sporting five rookies from the Mexico City farm system in backup or semi-platoon roles.

I'm about halfway through Season 4 of The Wire.  Will probably watch a bunch of other stuff before I get to Season 5, just because I don't want it to be done.

Season 5 of The West Wing may have been a pretty good one.  I can never remember how that show flowed, but I know it dropped off and then spiked back up before fading into Bolivian.
Five was weak.  Donna getting blown up in the mideast, Leo's (prescient) heart attack, Isreal/Palestine talks...maybe the worst season they had.  First one without Sorkin.   Picked back up in Season 6 with the Smits/Alda campaign.
I knew you'd step up.  Yeah, I wasn't as down on that season as you, but it wasn't great.  I think 4 is the one I thought was my favorite.

Heh, one of my best friends had a car stolen from a Macaroni Grill like 10 years ago while he was working there.

I see Xiao is already out 46 more days for mink before he plays a day on his shiny new three-year deal. It's his eighth career trip to the DL.

First couple of years were my favorite, and well as the last season. The first season was just chock full of classic Sorkin dialogue.

I mean, you gotta have balls to employ so many minorities and expect me to pay $15 for a plate.

I love the first season, but looking back, the presence of Moira Kelly makes me think I didn't like it as much as 2-4.  Probably not really true though.

The Disease return all the same hitters and mostly the same pitching staff, replacing leftover FA parts from last year with different leftover FAs this year, plus I'll call up a AAA rp eventually
