Might have been but solid starting pitchers are a necessity and are difficult to get without giving a lot up. Exhibit a: my davies and ward deals in that world won me a ws but the guys I gave up are studs.... Enrique something on vds team, moya, guzman on bux team..... and the one I'm most sad about parting with bolivar in Minn.

The deal was fine. I think you're just used to getting away with more.

BTW.... Davies is off to a cy young start. He's pitched great but has been plagued with mediocre records in the past... so far that's not the case.... instead Ross is sucking it up.

SP's are definitely the most valuable commodity in HBD, though I still can hardly believe how much Telemaco went for in $.  I withdrew my bid after my 4M plus ML offer was rejected

Finally we are getting it on in $. Lots of questions in Salem. Will this be Hooties last season? Can the slores repeat? Can morrie match his cy young stats of a year ago? Will Leonard live up to his expectations as the next great one?
