"IF YOU DON'T AGREE THAT GAYS SHOULD BE GIVEN SPECIAL EXCEPTIONS FOR EVERYTHING AND AREN'T TO BE CATER TO, YOU'RE A HOMOPHOBIC GAY HATER!!!!"

It's not that simple, you simple-minded *****.

If by "special exceptions" you mean "the same rights as everyone else," then yes.

Everyone has the same rights?

Since when?

I actually don't think they should get special exceptions.  Just what everyone else gets.

Theoretically, yes.

In reality?

In reality things like prop 8 get passed and it has to be fought in court.

So basically, what Mike is telling us in the last 10 pages is that he doesn't want gay couples to be able to adopt because it takes the punishment out of being gay.  In other words, he wants to incentivize people not to act like homosexuals even though they ARE homosexual.  Because being gay is bad, right?  Come on, don't take your personal opposition to homosexuality out on a bunch of innocent foster kids.  Self-centered *****.

So, in specific circumstances, some rights are not given or removed?

Looks like the HS debater fails to follow along.

How's it feel to have you best days behind you, Mr. High School Debate King?

Dumbass.

You may be surprised to learn that my personal opinions do not influence or direct public policy.

Dumbass.
In your opinion, he will never have a family of his own.  Am I wrong?
How do you figure that?
That fact that you're asking that points out that there is an enormous disconnect between what I've been saying and what you think I've been saying.

Or that you're a complete dumbass.

Which is it?
You said you don't consider 2 men and their children a family.

What am I missing?

I don't know about you, but when I was a kid, all of my classmates, friends, cousins, etc. came from households that had a mom and dad who were married to each other.

There was the occasional divorce situation, and the even rarer widow/widower situation, but everybody else was a member of a family with a mom and dad who were married to each other.

Thought I'd mention that in case you wanted to know what "family" means.
This. You explained what family means.

Among other things, it legitimizes the heads of a traditional family.  You know, "mommy" and "daddy".

If you've forgotten what a family is to you...

I'm pretty sure the guy who tried to be a jock in high school shouldn't be telling the guy getting a PhD from the world's top program in his field about having his best days behind him...
