Seriously, it's a bullshit set of "special circumstances" so particular laws don't apply to a specific group of people.  

Just admit it.   Everyone is not given the same set of "rights" by our governing bodies.

I don't know, Mike, it's a system that's been set up.  I'm not familiar with what Native Americans can and can't do in our world.  I have no idea what a reservation even looks like.  But I get it, there's some logical reasoning on why these reservations exist and that they have their own rules in many cases.  They owned this land in the first place.

And just to confirm.  Your argument for why gays shouldn't marry each other and raise children is because Native Americans own casinos in places where others can't, and not everyone is equal, so stop demanding equality.

I've confirmed long ago, probably page 5-6, that I don't really care one way or the other about SSM.   Truth be told, I think SSM adoptions should be scrutinized, not disallowed but SS partners would get a checkmark in the "not as desirable as OS couple" box, more than I care about SSM.

My argument in this case is that we are not given equal rights on many things.   So stop saying "We're all equal.  Give them the same rights!!"    We may be equal, or not, but we DO NOT have the same rights based on our circumstances.

It never really "became" anything.   Life is unfair and everyone isn't granted the same rights as everyone else.   Deal with it, eat a bullet, take it to the Supreme Court, jerk off to fat chicks, just do whatever you need to do.    Just don't expect me to care if you have "equal rights".  

My favorite part of this thread might be Mike repeatedly mentioning that he really doesn't care too much one way or the other about this topic and then arguing for over 3 months.
