Mike, have you done the 20/0 HS/COLL scouting split? Either way, does this surprise you ..

I picked up an abandoned team with that split a season ago, and decided to leave it be. Available draft pool surprised me: just 201 players, 26 of them college. I've always figured the total # of players created is in the 700-900 range, give or take, so I figured I'd see at least 350  HS players and no college players.

Surprised? No big deal, since I only really care about the top 20 or so, but filling out minor league rosters might be a small problem.

I have.  No, it does not.   I have 20/0 in Coop.   215 players.   I have 0/20 in MG.   500+ players.

Why did you go in different directions with your Coop/MG teams? Does the pool size lead you to think one way is better (in terms of yield) than the other?

I try to be contradictory to the world.  And address where I'll be in 2-4 seasons.  At the time, I had a good core of young BL players in Coop and more owners were investing in coll scouting.  So I went HS.  Opposite was true in MG and I needed players faster.   Of course, after a few seasons, it's all moot as needs/budgets change.

No, the players change every year.   Sometimes HS produces more "quality", sometimes college does.  As you know, after the first 2-3 rounds, it's just scraps anyway.

I didn't look at them.   But that is a little funny.

He's still a BL pitcher.   If you have a good bit of money in medical, he'll recover some, most , all or more of it.
