Does anyone else find it just fantastic that they spelled the word "League" wrong in their world name? "Evangeline Leagu". I hate to be the spelling police, and I'm sure I've made some errors in my forum posts. But don't you take a moment to double check something as permanent as the name of your world?

Nothing good can come from naming a world after a chick.  TGWTD.

There are longer league names with the same number of seasons played, "Erffdogg Memorial League" being one of several examples.

EML was a "special" league name change.   I'm pretty sure there's a limit.  Looking at the worlds that exceed Evangeline Leagu's space, I think all were changed names.    American Baseball Union is the one I'd question if I didn't know it was once ABU.   Some of the others were merged worlds(meaning WifS gave the league it's name) and some were memorial worlds for owners who passed.

But I certainly wouldn't discount Leagu being a mistake.    Even if it was done that way, do a little spellcheck.

At least send in a ticket after the fact to fix it.

Evangeline seems an appropriate handle. From SABR;  "Possibly the most important allegation since 1919 concerned the Houma club in the playoffs of the Class D Evangeline League in 1946."

From Wikipedia:

So it's still named after a chick.

This is so unbelievably crooked. I am very disappointed that it has been allowed to continue by WIS.
This.

This statement should really be raising a red flag with everyone involved:
"Thanks, but this is a danger of a veto. thats why we usually dont say anything about the draft picks, we just do it after rollover...silently...
lol...cross your fingers"

And this.

Anyone surprised that nique was defending the absentee commish? I know I was shocked... (insert sarcasm here)

"Thanks, but this is a danger of a veto. thats why we usually dont say anything about the draft picks, we just do it after rollover...silently...

This is the key passage thus far.  Making such a statement means that, at best, you thought what you were doing was cheating and you attempted to hide it.  Also, who is "we" in this statement?  Why do Nordique and Nauds speak so freely for each other?
