Smart or not smart?

If they're older than 24, I don't play them. I don't invest enough in medical, so I don't like the risk/reward ratio.

If they're improving in ratings, it makes sense to play them.  If they're older and their ratings are declining, playing them may help delay the decline in ratings.  If they're in between....i don't know.

Position players - no more than 25 AB's.

Pitchers - no more than 4 appearances or 10 innings.

I cant remember a player ever getting hurt in ST. Not saying it doesnt happen, I just cant remember it happening.

I usually limit playing time because of fatigue factors.

Injuries happen in ST.

IIRC, I lost a guy for the entire season due to an injury he received during the final game of ST one season.

It does happen.  I lost a guy for the season after 1 ST AB.  He wasn't an integral MLB level guy, but it's about as extreme as you can get.

In general, my regulars end up getting between 35 and 45 AB's and SP's about 15 IP.
