I don't think it's a "must" have under any circumstances.    One could punt domestic, IFA and ADV scouting.   0 across the board, concentrate on FA and hope to hit the lottery in the draft every now and then.

6m for coaches/prospects.   20m for medical/training.   52m plus 133m for payroll.   That's a legit strategy.  One I might actually employ.   In fact, 9% of my 146 teams have exceeded 120m.   That's a hop, a skip and a jump to 133m.    For a 0 medical disciple, 153m in payroll.   

I have followed the whole thread but after having played since the game launched I am happy to see some changes as it was getting a bit boring. I am interested to see how it all shakes out and how the impact of the changes will actually manifest changes in the way I build my teams!

I just had a thought. With only seeing projections for players, won't this make vetoing lopsided trades almost impossible?

It seams to me that WIS has already started to change player ratings. My spreadsheets need cell width changes for a lot more 100's

Budget day today.  Seeing some interesting things on the GM roster page.  Current ratings differ with budget changes.  Don't match the player card current ratings...no details yet - just observations.

If you would, please confirm what you posted today.    Because there's nothing in the update that would indicate this would happen, it's not 5/26 yet and there have been several budget days with no one else mentioning it. 

Checked Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Petey Anderson.   His card/your roster are identical.

Roger Dunn's vR was 100 on the roster, 92 on his card.  When I adjusted ADV to 10 (from 2), it matched his card.  This happened on a number of ratings and a few other players  also (only hitters as far as I can tell).  Budget day is over so I cannot duplicate.  It caught my eye because I've never had a player with a 100 rating in vL, vR or Range.  One of the SS's on the roster showed a 100 range also when my ADV was at 2.  Again, the player cards didn't change, just how they showed on the GM roster page.
