We have at least two openings for season 20 of the NABCL, as good a HBD league as you are going to find.  Our founding commissioner, randallball, is moving on to biggers and betters, but his WIS legacy remains strong and healthy.  We will be assuming randall's commish responsibilities going forward and will post franchise profiles shortly. In the interim, please sitemail us if you have interest.  All prospective owners will be vetted through our existing owner group, so interest alone is no guarantee of a franchise.  NABCL has a strong track record of committed, passionate owners and we intend to maintain the record until randallball returns.

Franchise 1 is in the AL East and has previously been owned since NABCL inception by randallball himself.  (http://wisjournal.com/HBD/Pages/Popups/FranchiseProfile.aspx?fid=678) This team is in a transitional phase, having two third-place finishes in a row after taking the East the previous three seasons.  Sadly, randall never won the NABCL championship, so you can reasonably expect Karma to kick in now and position this franchise for immediate success. Other division owners include fletchkd, coachmoss and Shalmelo, with a combined total of 150 prior HBD seasons between them.

Franchise 2 is in the NL West and has been managed for the last seven seasons by mitchrapp, a successful and quality owner. (http://wisjournal.com/HBD/Pages/Popups/FranchiseProfile.aspx?fid=703)  Amazingly, this team has never finished in first place in its division, despite some very good seasons in its past. This franchise has some good bats at the big league level and some quality arms down on the farm.  Division mates include knucklebones, Save_Mr_X and drutes, with a combined total of 270 prior HBD seasons.

As sad as we are to lose our founder, we are determined to carry on the tradition of one of elite leagues in all of HBD. 

We are in good hands with jose "Vegas".

jose is the only one worthy enough to follow in randall's footsteps...this is the best league in all of hbd...you won't regret joining the nabcl...

mitchrapp helpfully notes that, with his exit, the NABCL is  now 100% mitchrapp-free.  so we have that going for us.  which is nice.

We have interest from one other owner who will likely be a fit.  But we are still waiting for positive confirmation from a few returning owners, so we are happy to waitlist any other interested owners.

We have another franchise open now, and possibly two more.  Profiles to follow:

Franchise 3 is in the NL North and has been owned by three of our favorite owners:  donaldkey (back in the NABCL again with Rick's old franchise), examinerebb and tomjames.  (http://wisjournal.com/HBD/Pages/Popups/FranchiseProfile.aspx?fid=693)  Yet, despite the efforts of these three fine owners, this franchise has never finished in first place in this competitive division, where you'll go up against bullet6464, keith1995 and iain.  Still, tomjames is a bit of a turnaround artist, so we are certain that he left this team going in the right direction.  We would love nothing more than see some new blood come in here and knock these top owners down a peg or two.
