Gentle Reader,

     6.29 EDIT: we filled the winning franchise originally advertised here, but we unexpectedly had 1 final franchise come available—a re-build this time: only $17M in salary obligations, #1 draft pick this season, and several good recently drafted pitchers on the farm, including the #1 draft pick from last season.

     So, it's a blank slate with high draft picks and no albatrosses. 


Schmidt World is close to rolling and has only 1 franchise left to fill.  Observe: 

AL West: (might I suggest Honolulu as a lovely place to rebuild?)

I just finished my first season in this world. I have enjoyed it very much. I received a lot of positive advice as I am learning the game. I learned a lot from these guys last season, and I expect to do a lot better this season. Although, if you wait, I may switch to one of these better teams!!!!
