bradley needs to be able to play in game 7 or we might just steal this one from you...rondo and allen cant stay in front of anyone

answer me honestly....did rondo deserve his all-defense selection? i know he gets steals but his on ball defense looks lazy

Rondo is a superb defender when he wants to be, but like with all things Rondo, he is very inconsistent in his play.  I think it is because he is a very emotional player and lets his emotions get the best of him, but that is just my take.  It is one of the reasons I would like to move him this off season, as I don't think he has the mental makeup or consistency to be the team leader after the old men are all gone.

yea he looked like a completely different player from game 5...like he just wasnt into it....we tightened up our pick and roll defense but he still had chances to to kill us with scoring drives to the basket and just wasnt confident at all with his takes.....sure hope he plays like that again

Celtics shot 33%, had 5 bench points, were thoroughly outplayed and still only lost by 7. I find it hard to believe they'll end up blowing this series, but they won't stand a chance in holy hell of beating the Heat, or the Pacers for that matter.

I really hope you guys get rid of Rondo so you can go 12-70 next year.   Bass went 2-12, Ray went 1-5 from 3.  Yet Rondo is the reason for the loss.  You wouldn't sniff the playoffs with the guy.  So by all means, do like you did with Perk and send him to a team that has a pulse.

well ray is now damaged goods and bass is a supporting player who's going to be up + down.

we needed rondo to beast and he looked entirely disengaged and got abused defensively by holiday.  we would be quite a bit better than 12-70 w/o him seeing that we have two other players who are significantly better than him.

Also Bass is gonna opt out and become a FA

Celtics are looking at Bradley/Pierce/Rondo/KG (assuming he re-signs which seems likely) plus a decent $15M-ish chunk of cap space as their core next year.  Should be interesting to see whether they trade Rondo or not and what they do with their space; I doubt Bradley is going anywhere because it seems unlikely that his value to somebody else is greater than his value to us.

trading rondo even straight up for gasol is a joke....

i have never understood the hate on rondo on this site. possibly a top 10 pg? please
with tonight's loss, sad to see the likely end to an era, but rondo's performance is one of the 2 or 3 best I've seen from anyone, at any time

Rondo has been great all playoffs, he's atrocious on defense and sometimes makes very questionable decisions on offense but he can backpack with the best of 'em.

If nothing else he probably jacked up his trade value nice and high this playoffs though- go get some rape, ainge!

Funny you mention Ainge and rape in the same sentence, as I think every person even remotely a C's fan feels like "their" team was raped last night.  Ainge has got to feel like a Sandusky Kid after watching that officiating fiasco.

Well Ainge wasn't raped last night, his players were by the refs but that has nothing to do with his hopefully impending offseason trade rapes.
