antonsirius might meander in here as well, but for now I'll spare shtickless from Christian Slater acting morally superior because they own "Everything Is"

Five albums that were a part of my overtime listening schedule this morning, share your thoughts:

Olivia Tremor Control - "Music from an Unrealized Screenplay: Dusk at the Cubist Castle"
TV On The Radio - "Return to Cookie Mountain"
The Whitest Boy Alive - "Dreams"
Fairweather - "Lusitania"
The Walkmen - "You & Me"

This morning...

The Decemberists--Picaresque
Beirut--Gulag Orkestar
The Airborne Toxic Event

I have to flip around on Olivia Tremor Control. Some of their stuff is great, but some is way too experimental/pretentious/noisy for me.

Yeah, the Green Typewriters stuff is generally skipped. But stuff like "Defining a Transparent Dream" is pretty nice.

Just hit a nice sequence with
"Care of Cell 44" - The Zombies
"Creeper" - The Islands
"Unless the Laker Game Was On" - Say Hi To Your Mom
"Tim I Wish You Were Born A Girl" - Of Montreal
"Marigold & Patchwork" - Appleseed Cast

Just listened to them the other day. On first listen, I wasn't that impressed. Sounded too much like an updated, indied-out, Erasure.
