They will definitely shatter the record. But I thought Fernald won the prize last year (?).

Look out for Jeff Gillooly when they get within striking range, lol.

oops i must be losing it. yeah fernald won it last season. i think rockey will get it this year
3/4/2010 4:25 PM
Depends somewhat on who you start and how you do. With a system like that, if you are usually winning by a lot (as you did last season), then the second team guy will continue to score more. So maybe Fernald will get it again. Just make sure their egos don't get too big, Shaq and Kobe style.

Well, I don't have much to add by way of season preview since I already said it at the end of last season.

Good luck D3 fans!

This was a great season, by any objective measure. But by my subjective measure, it was short. Our roster was good enough to win another title, and the wrenching loss to Texas Dallas will stick with me -- not because of TX-Dallas, clearly a worthy winner, and NT finalist as they became; but because we were so damn close. There are details of that game I could go over here, but it is sort of like reviewing a video of yourself getting hit in the head. I might learn how not to get hit in the head, but, damn, I don't want to see that.

I posted some more spontaneous thoughts in the CC after the loss, which I will add here. Then I will have to get to replacing the four seniors who were the last link to our national title.

Thanks point. I went into that game very nervous. The only area I thought I had you was in IQ. Lucky for me the dice rolled in our favor that time around. gl next season, hopefully we get a chance to meet again at that level.

Very tough to lose a quarterfinal game by two points. TX Dallas forced us into many more turnovers than usual, especially in the second half. I know I will spend time rehashing my game plan and comparing my season 23/24 rosters to the season 20/21 ...

...rosters, wondering where we came up short. But the truth is that the distinguishing points are so fine and you're not going to find solid answers.
