I feel like if this were even 2011 Shtickless, we could be having some "The Event" level fun at the expense of "The Slap" without even having to watch it.

The Slap > The Event

Sure it's ridiculous to structure an entire show around a kid getting hit and the ensuing drama with friends and family, but at least it's a structure.  I watched 5 or 6 episodes of Jersey Shore back in the day to see a ***** get smacked.

Also **** Netflix.  I end up watching  these bullshit network shows.  Most recently Blacklist.  First episode was good until the end, when they set the table for 5 seasons of episodic dumb ****.  It's like 24 impregnated Alias and the baby was adopted by Homeland until it came of age and got knocked up by one of those really dumb shows I've never even heard of that you like.  Then that baby became a show called Blacklist.  Or something.
