I really need more evidence that it's changed but it certainly appears to have.   If it has, I'm going down.   Not sure I'll bottom out at 0, I've seen players get 100+ games for sore arm with 0, but I won't be staying at 20m.   I'll just have to pay more attention to health.

Not much.  I think everyone goes thru a boredom part.   If you think you want to stick it out, keep your long-term team(s) and drop the rest.    Pick up a new one if/when you feel like it.    There are some "theme worlds" out there.   You could try one of them. 

I activated a player on my ML roster from the DL today and had to send down a guy to make room... I ended up sending down a guy with options instead of a less effective player who was out of options because I wasn't sure about how long I would have to wait if I waived the player with no options prior to sending him down.

Do I need to plan a couple of days ahead in a situation like this so I can waive the player a day or two before I need to send him down to make room for a guy coming off the DL?

As a follow-up - which is more appropriate for the player being sent down: demote, or designate for assignment?

Waivers will work after two 3 AM cycles.   

Follow-up answer, if you need to make immediate room, you can designate players with no options.   With or without waivers.

Thoughts/expectations for Jose Palmeiro?

First thought is you'll be disappointed.   He's not going to be able to log a lot of innings so, if he has a couple of bad ones(like all relievers do), his year end numbers won't match his ratings.   His lower control with the DUR/STM issue will limit him even more inning-wise.   I'd expect a 1.15-1.25ish WHIP and a 3-3.5ish ERA.   But, out of his 50 appearances, 45-47 should be considered successful and the other 3-5 will muck up his statline.

What determines the projected ratings of an international prospect, advanced scouting or international scouting?

Int scouting before he's signed, adv after he's signed.

Why did God want Jordy Nelson to blow out his ACL?

God looked upon Jordy as a mistake.   White boys don't play WR in the NFL.   He tried giving them multiple concussions but Welker kept coming back.   He tried having them drop N-bombs on tape at a country concert but the black boys didn't kill Cooper.   So this was a last resort.  Cripple the white boy and he can't play.

You have a team that had been red hot for the first half of the year. 110 wins is very probable with even 115 slightly possible. The all star break rolls around and they start to cool off. Nothing dreadful but they go 10-10 in their last 20 and have dropped top spot in the confernce but still lead the division. Do you start looking to move things around, seeing what is on the trade market or do you weather the storm and accept that these things happen?
