NL

Albert Pujols  .312.414.596  Almost identical O-stats as Votto, but did it in a slight pitchers park instead of Great American and had 50 more PAs. He also played GG defense at first.

AL

Robinson Cano  .319.381.534  Played excellent defense at 2nd base and had 50 more PAs than Miguel Cabrera. M.C. would be a good choice too though.

Can't argue with Pujols. My choice in the AL would be Cabrera, although it's tough to pick the MVP from a .500 team (btw, did you see the Tigers final home record?)

I thought Konerko had a stellar year but thats a homer pick =)

No mention of Josh Hamilton?

There is now.

Nah, it's Votto.  The Reds were a surprise and Votto was steady throughout the year.  Pujols faded right when the Cards needed him most.  I'm a Denver guy....explain if you will:  Gonzales gets accused of playing in a hitters park, therefore his #'s arent as impressive.  Applying that logic, should Jimeniz get more credit for pitching at Coors?  He doesnt by the way with the national media

Yes.

And what about Halladay? Although I don't like the phillies I think that thy are in a hitters park therefor Ryan Howard shouldn't get as much credit. That means that Halladay should be up there. Although I still think ubaldo deserves the cy young

Halladay is the best Cy Young choice. Wainwright had nearly indentical stats, but played in a slight pitchers park, while Halladay did it in a hitters park.
